"Stop Elbit Systems" is an international campaign seeking to end cooperation, contracts and investments in the company Elbit Systems, the largest private Israeli arms manufacturer, long accused of participation in Israeli war crimes and of arming the Israeli genocide of Palestinians.
The half-hour documentary "Palestine Action - a year of direct action against Elbit Systems UK" charts the first year of direct actions by the British group Palestine Action against the production of the Israeli arms manufacturer Elbit in Great Britain, which was forced to close some of its establishments due to pressure. The film features a series of interviews with the founders of Palestine Action and their supporters, as well as analysts and journalists.
The film will be shown in its original version with Czech subtitles.
After the screening, there will be an online discussion with Ronnie Barkan, a long-time Israeli human rights activist and former participant in direct actions against Elbit Systems, who himself appears in the documentary.
