About event

“And you stand there without doing anything,
how long do you want to wait?
Stand up, raise your hands,
because our Stetl is burning.”
(Mordechaj Gebirtig [1877-1942],
Jewish-Polish poet and composer, died in the Krakow ghetto)
(from: “S´ brent! Briderlekh, s' brent!" [1938])

Warm invitation

As a reminder of the 87th return of the November pogroms in 1938, we want to remember and make the walk together part of our STOLPERSTEINE in the neighborhood.
We will meet on Sunday,
November 9th, 2025 at 13 Clock
on the Mörsch Bridge (with a view of the lock)*.
We will take our time with dignity and respect, read out the NAMES of the people - “our forgotten neighbors” -, light lights and lay down white roses.
