About event
Behind the name Stereocilia is hidden by the Bristol guitarist and composer John Scott, whom we welcomed in Puncto for the first time in 2016. His current, the sixth album Phases partially leaves the dense guitar drones from the beginning of his work, giving more space to analog synthesizers. The current location dynamically oscillates between the torn electronic cosmische sound, which is, however, updated by today's possibilities and psychedelic sheegaz. Both create tension and impression of movement, although it eventually keeps the listener statically in hypnotic vortex. John performed alongside Ben Frost, Gnod, Nadja, Daniel Lanois or Acid Mothers Temple and also participated in three different embodiment of "guitar orchestras" Rhys Chatham.

Originally jazz pianist Richard Sears comes from the US, but currently lives and creates in Paris. The previous Disquiet was produced by Shahzad Ismaily, which he impressed so much that the last (Appear to Fade) released him on his label Figureight. Appear to Fade leaves the first -class virtuosity and jazz scene in favor of intimate melancholy and desecrated sound on the threshold of disintegration. The Guardian aptly mentions Harold Budd or Keith Jarrett as a reference, but it is necessary to add the other side of the coin (or rather tapes?): James Leyland Kirby (Aka The Caretaker) or William Basinski. But while the last two are rather short masters, already preserved, loops, Richard's compositions still sail and continue their lives, albeit on the edge of recognition. Delicate piano ambient surviving in echoes of overwhelmed tapes.

Flashing AstraTes Rebuted after years of pauses from sentimental nostalgia after their own re -evaluated ambitions. The clouds of atonal timbre are mixed with the dark beliefs of guitars, tapedron and voice. In your own words, somewhere halfway between Karlheinz Stockhausen and Grouper. You can also know his work under the alias myst K. href = "https://connect.boomeVents.org/cs/event/richardsaars-stereoCilia"> https://connect.boomeVents.org/cs/event/richardsaars-stereocilia
