About event
Nosferatu in a church with choir, church organ and the Berlin Live Film Music Orchestra!
Bothmer's composition is the most successful music for NOSFERATU since the silent film era. It is gripping and extremely suggestive: archetypes come to life and the audience is drawn into the film. It experiences the film as if from the inside out! A journey into the unconscious that is as wonderful as it is eerie, the land of hidden fears and desires.
"A wonderful music - the best I have ever heard, no, been allowed to hear, from NOSFERATU." Cinema Musica
[F.W. Murnau, D 1922]
Live film music:
Choir: silent voices
Berlin live film music orchestra: Fanny Rennert (soprano), Kristoff Becker (e-cello), Stephan Graf v. Bothmer (church organ, composition), Florian Goltz (percussion)
