About event
This year, Ružinov is also preparing for the May Day celebrations associated with the traditional building of maypoles. This folk tradition, deeply rooted in our culture, brings to the streets a cheerful atmosphere, music and shared moments that unite generations.
The building of maypoles symbolizes the joy of the arrival of spring and the renewal of life in nature. Even in Ružinov, this custom is maintained every year thanks to the support of local residents, folklore ensembles and volunteer firefighters. During the day, several maypoles will be gradually built in different parts of the town, while the program will be accompanied by music and traditional performances.
