About event
Screening of the film on the eve of the 116th anniversary of the birth of Eduard Tomáš and a discussion with the director Viliam Poltikovič
Venue: Studio K3, Karlovo náměstí 3, Prague 2 - New Town (2nd floor)
The husband and wife Míla and Eduard Tomáš contributed significantly to the development of non-religious spirituality in the former Czechoslovakia with their books, lectures and personal meetings and they still contribute to it with their legacy. It was not necessary to go to India, Tibet or the Amazon for deep mystical knowledge and spiritual personalities. With their unique experience and deep insight, Mr. and Mrs. Tomáš were available and open to all seekers in the center of Bohemia.
The film depicts the activities of Mr. and Mrs. Tomáš from the second half of the nineties until the end. It will approximate the atmosphere of regular meetings in the completely filled large hall of the Prague Lucerna, where people gathered from all over the country. People sat on the ground, the balconies were occupied to the last seat, the visitors didn't even mind that they couldn't see the stage, all they had to do was listen...
The main line of the film is the interviews that Viliam Poltikovič conducted with Tomáš at their cottage near Clay. In them, Míla and Eduard Tomáš reveal, among other things, the meaning of the word mystic, the path from recognizing the limiting ego to the all-embracing unity of the Absolute, the path from suffering to inner liberation, awakening. At the same time, they speak clearly and are accessible even to people who are beginning to be interested in spirituality. In the film, the viewer also gets a glimpse into the private life of the Tomáš couple.
Price: CZK 300, or CZK 500 for a couple (if there are two of you, please indicate this in advance in the registration form)
