🌍 We invite you to an inspiring meeting with the organization AFS Slovakia, which for more than 75 years has been connecting young people, volunteers and families all over the world through exchange programs and intercultural education.

For all parents who are thinking ahead - about what opportunities their child may have in the future.
For families who are tempted to get to know other cultures, experience something new and maybe accept a foreign student into their family for a few months, who will bring a fresh perspective to everyday life.
And for everyone who simply wants to know more and ask questions 🙂

– What does it mean to be a host family for a student from abroad
– How such an experience can enrich your children too – even the smaller ones
– How exchange programs work and how your children can get involved in them too
– What support does AFS provide during the entire process
– And why volunteering is a natural part of this exceptional experience
👨👩👧👦 What is AFS Slovakia?
AFS Slovakia is a non-profit organization that for more than 75 years has enabled high school students to travel abroad for a study stay - and at the same time brings foreign students to Slovakia, where they live for several months in Slovak families.
The family that decides to host a student will offer him a normal family background - nothing special is needed, just openness and a desire to share everyday life life.
At the same time, the family gains:
– a new perspective on their own culture,
– an opportunity for children to learn a foreign language or customs,
– and often friendships for life.
AFS ensures the selection of students, their insurance, school, training and regular support for the family during the entire stay.
