Do you have a dog that reacts uncertainly or excitedly when meeting other dogs? Do you sometimes feel helpless when your four-legged friend pulls on the leash or barks? Then our social walks are just right for you!​

What is a social walk?

A social walk is a guided learning walk in a small group of human-dog teams. We go for walks together at a sufficient distance, with the dogs usually staying on a leash. Direct contact between dogs is not the main goal; Rather, the focus is on calm and controlled interaction.

Your dog learns:

• Calmness in dog encounters: Relaxed acceptance of other dogs nearby, stress-free encounters with strangers and perhaps even the ability to make new ones Dog friendships.​
• Environmental exploration: Getting involved in the environment despite the presence of other dogs and sniffing in a relaxed manner.​
• Communication: Reading the body language of other dogs and reacting appropriately to the individual distance of other dogs to be adhered to.

Why are social walks so effective?

In our often hectic everyday lives, there is often no time for calm and controlled dog encounters. Social walks provide the framework in which your dog can learn to feel comfortable in the presence of other dogs at his own pace. By exploring the environment together and doing playful exercises, the focus is not exclusively on the other dogs, which contributes to a relaxed atmosphere.

Who are social walks suitable for?

Our social walks are aimed at all dogs and owners who:

• Insecurities or Have fears when meeting dogs.​
• Want to work on leash walking and calmness.​
• Want to improve your dog's social behavior.
• Want to learn to interact with other dogs or environmental stimuli in a relaxed manner.
• Can't get along with other dogs due to great excitement.

How does a social walk work? from?​

We make sure that the participating teams fit together so that everyone has a positive experience.​

Equipment to bring:

• 10-15m Leash
• Chest harness
• Treats
• Lick reward
• Water
• Clicker

Requirements:

• Female dogs in heat are asked not to do so out of consideration for participating male dogs To take part.
• As not every participating dog is used to children, children are only allowed from the age of 13 and only when accompanied by adults. I ask for your understanding.
• The participating dogs may not be walked on a collar and/or a flexible leash!!!

THE EVENT CAN BE CANCELED UP TO 30 DAYS IN ADVANCE. AFTER THIS, FREE CANCELLATION IS NO LONGER POSSIBLE. A SUBSTITUTE PARTICIPANT CAN BE NAME!
