About event
As part of the event Weekend of Open Parks and Gardens, which this year is marked by the theme “Stone in the Garden”, we will bring you closer to the interesting facts of the life and work of the famous sculptor Alojz Rigele (1879 - 1940), whose rich artistic creation in the public space of Bratislava can hardly be seen. Bratislava streets, cemeteries and parks are still embellished to this day by a number of his statues, memorials and tombstones. We will talk a lot of attractions from his private and working life and during the tour we will see several of his works on the facades of buildings and statues in public space. street
