The exhibition I Dream of Rain represents dreaming as a gesture and as a method – as a relational and speculative practice that can materialize new relationships with the living world. The exhibited works examine water not only as a source, but also as a carrier of memory, rituals and situated forms of knowledge. Here, rain appears as a vital ecological factor as well as a cultural and symbolic force associated with regeneration and continuity.

Through installations, images, sound and architectural structures, artists weave a dense ecological system of relationships that connect infrastructures, ecological processes and embodied ways of knowing. Works originating from different geographical areas together create an environment in which perception, memory and imagination are in constant circulation and where, through collective dreaming, we can rethink the ways in which we inhabit and sustain the living world.

➺ Adelina Luft is a curator based in Bucharest. Her practice is guided by decolonial thinking and process-oriented, collaborative and interdisciplinary forms of work. It is part of transit/Bucharest and operates in the Experimental Station for Research on Art and Life. In 2025, together with other artists, curators and architects, she founded the Amaranth Seed Collective (ASK).

Exhibition tour with curator Adelina Luft, artists Yasmeen Al-Qaisi, Dan Vezentan. The works in the exhibition explore water not only as a resource but also as a carrier of memory, ritual, and situated forms of knowledge. Rain appears both as a vital ecological matter and as a cultural and symbolic force associated with regeneration and continuity.

Through installations, images, sound, and architectural structures, the artists trace a dense ecology of relationships linking infrastructures, ecological processes, and embodied ways of knowing. Emerging from diverse geographies, the works construct an environment where perception, memory, and imagination remain in continuous circulation, and where collective dreaming becomes a means to rethink how we inhabit and sustain the living world.
