Smuk Zvuk is a Danish-Czech duo of vibraphonist Viktorie Søndergaard and double bassist Klára Pudláková. The musicians met while studying at the Conservatoire National Supérieur in Paris during the covid lockdowns. Although this difficult time made it impossible for them to discover the Parisian music scene, it also created space for the creation of a unique musical partnership.

Klára and Viktorie spent time together playing jazz standards, sharing their own compositions and improvisations. It was during this period that the basis of their joint sound was formed. The combination of vibraphone and double bass represents an unusual cast that offers wide possibilities for experimentation, but at the same time places high demands on composition and mutual communication between the players.
The friendship and musical connection that was born in Paris continued even after returning to their home countries. Both artists regularly collaborate in other projects and belong to prominent personalities of the contemporary Czech and Danish jazz scene. Viktorie works, among others, in the Baryl and Viktoria's Music of Secrets projects, while Klára leads the groups Uthando, Pudlax, Maomah and Toša.
In 2024, both musicians were accepted to the Erasmus master's program at the Academy in Oslo. It was the long and dark Norwegian winter days that allowed them to continue their intensive work together and gave the impetus to create and record the debut album Call Me a Princess.
