Connectivity is the technical networking of smartphones, computers and machines based on interfaces and strong mobile networks. The fast and secure ability of devices and machines to communicate with one another is the basis of the data economy.

Data becomes information. Various production sites are controlled centrally, predictive maintenance or digital remote maintenance are new services, driver assistance systems increase efficiency and safety or enable autonomous driving.

In the data economy, quickly and reliably available information determines competitiveness. Who knows the data of their company and its customers and can best use it legally? More complex services, fast production and delivery, individualization and flexible response to changing customer demands become possible.

Germany and Saxony have a good starting point and the best development opportunities for data economics. German companies have machine data. Germany has an LTE network coverage of 96.99 percent and 5G of 84.98 percent.

Smart mobility, smart services and smart maintenance are the future of urban mobility.

We present concrete examples and offer an exchange of experiences with experts and innovators from the region. We look forward to a stimulating dialogue.
