The idea for 𝗦𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 came about as Bo Bach from Fu Manchu taught one of his students how to play "South Of Heaven" by Slayer. Since she was a beginner, the tempo was slowed down and tuned down to B standard. The result forms the basis for Slower. Over the years, the project slowly matured and gradually other well-known personalities from the American heavy rock scene became interested in it. There is now a solid line-up with Esben Willems (drums), Peder Bergstrand (bass), Amy Barrysmith (vocals), Bob Balch (guitar), Scott Reeder (bass) and Laura Pleasants (vocals), which debuted at the beginning of this year EP with Slayer songs in Heavy Doom guise released and the next step is tackling the stages of Europe.
