Slovné spojenia s Luciou Molnár Satinskou: Jazyky za zubami

In the second part of the discussion series, Lucia Molnár Satinská and her guests will talk about what it is like to be Hungarian in Slovakia, how minority stress affects language expression, where one can find one's social voice and how to overcome fear.

The discussion project Word Connections seeks answers to the questions of how language does not harm but brings people together, how language stereotypes affect mutual perception, and what barriers language can represent in everyday life. for people who are not its "typical users". The guests of linguist Lucie Molnár Satinská will be representatives of various organizations that deal with the issues of minorities or vulnerable population groups, as well as representatives of various communities or social "bubbles". The goal of the discussions is to get to know the different communities that make up Slovak society better, and to formulate specific recommendations on how to communicate about yourself and each other with respect.
