About event
We cordially invite you to the launch of our first Journal! ✨
Dance Context Journal 2024 on the topic Dance in public space was created under the editorial leadership of Petra Dotlačilová and Zuzana Rafajová, and on November 29, it will be christened by the performer Eliška Brtnická at the Divadla Inspirace. It will thus become the first godmother of a brand new form of publication, which in its concept and periodicity follows on from the Special Edition that Dance Context has been publishing since 2018.
📗 The gala evening will take place in cooperation with the Music and Dance Faculty of HAMU. The christening will be preceded by a presentation of the publication at the international conference Dance science - past and present.
🗣️ In addition to the performance of the act itself, the christening program also includes an interview with Eliška Brtnicka, a new circus artist who has extensive experience performing in public spaces . Dance News editor Clara Zanga will accompany the entire evening.
🛍️ You can order your Dance Context Journal 2024, either in print or in PDF format, now at www.dancecontext.com, or purchase at one of the distribution points.
We look forward to seeing you! 👋🏼
