About event
The popular electronic group Skyline, led by Jakub Bína, will go on an autumn tour. The list includes the cities of Brno, Pilsen, Děčín, Hradec Králové, Liberec and others. The launch of the album is planned for November 7th at Lucerna Music Bar in Prague.
The ninth Skyline album was named Superpowers and will be released in early September. Work on the album took the band an intensive two years, so its members can't wait to finally play the new songs live for the fans. Jakub Bína says about the new album: "I think our new record will have a fantastic response in the clubs. It's a lot about club music, we have far more dance sound than on the previous records - mainly drum and bass."
"In the concert set, of course, we won't forget the most important songs from the older repertoire that fans like best. We are already playing four singles from the new record at summer festivals, and we will add a few more in the fall," adds band founder and drummer Radek Bureš. "People at festivals reacted very well to the new songs, we are happy about that. There are several adepts on the record who could - figuratively speaking - tear the roof off the clubs live," adds Radek Bureš.
The club tour is primarily about close contact between the band and the audience. “To support the whole show, we also bring our own lights and equipment to make it as beautiful as possible. Just a full setup," says lighting designer Ondřej Burián. "We'll cram into the clubs as much as we can fit in," Jakub Bína is looking forward to.
"The launch of the album is a big event for us. LMB is our very popular club, where there is an absolutely top-notch facility. The specific stage allows you to be really close to the audience, and we like that as a 'contact' band. In Lucerna Music Bar, we have historically experienced some of our best concerts, and we hope that this one will join them," adds Radek Bureš on behalf of the band.
