Six Organs of Admittance & Norberto Lobo - Paredes [Música]

What else to say about Carlos Paredes, his music and its importance? Perhaps it is from this difficulty and apparent impossibility that the desire to create new and untouched material is born, coming from this world of permanent inspiration, in a gesture of gratitude. On his centenary, a handful of venues and institutions come together to celebrate in a special way the legacy of master Paredes, inviting two guitarists for whom the music of the author of Movimento Perpétuo reinforces, every day, their belief in art. Norberto Lobo, one of the most important and inventive Portuguese guitarists, joins forces with Ben Chasny, an American and an essential name in the free thought of the guitar, also through his Six Organs of Admittance, to create a new universe, one more, for the entire this fundamental energy left by Carlos Paredes. Walking to a new place seems like the perfect tribute to a legacy left by someone who always explored the limits of his mastery.
