The Young Democrats are organizing the eighth annual Simulation of the European Parliament in Prague. The simulation meeting will take place on November 12 and 13, 2026.
On Thursday, November 12, the venue will be the Marble Hall of Česká spořitelna, Rytířská 29, Prague 1.
On Friday, November 13, the event will continue in the meeting hall of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic (entrance A1 from Valdštejnská Street).
Participants will try out the work of MPs in several parliamentary committees and political groups as well as the plenary session of the European Parliament and discuss European politics with MEPs.
Members of the European Parliament have promised to participate in Friday's debate:
- Ondřej Krutílek
- Ondřej Kolář
- Markéta Gregorová
At least fifteen of the most successful students will be rewarded with the opportunity to participate in a trip to the European Parliament.
The event is organized thanks to the financial support of the Hanns Seidel Foundation.
The event is held under the auspices of the Vice-Chairman of the Constitutional-Legal Committee of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, Prof. PhDr. Stanislav Balík, Ph.D.
Participation in meals is 250 CZK for both days of the event. For students outside of Prague, we can arrange accommodation in a hotel with breakfast for 300 CZK.
