About event
Simon Pearce still hasn't lost his joy on the stage and in life, but now it's happened: 40 is here! He has less than ten years left in the advertising-relevant target group!
And suddenly he asks himself questions: Can I be a good father even though I still feel like a child myself? Do I have to change my behavior now so that I don't seem like an unpleasantly young-at-heart substitute teacher? Can I take part in climate demonstrations without looking like a spy for the boomers? Should I be angry or happy that the police will probably no longer classify me as a threat?
Perhaps you don't always have to make a decision. Maybe you don't have to have an extreme position on everything, but just listen to both sides.
A hybrid model of life! Nothing suits Simon Pearce better than that. The Bavarian-Nigerian energy package loves the alternation between funny anecdotes and social tips, the quick gag as well as the clever punch line and the loud tones as well as thoughtful passages.
Is Is he now an actor or comedian? Does he do comedy or cabaret now? Doesn't matter. He's just a hybrid. He's definitely funny, he's proven that many times.
Pearce comes from the generation that has probably experienced the greatest amount of growth and is now feeling it for the first time there has to be a stop. How can they deal with it?
