About event
The best event of the year in Subspace will take place as usual at the beginning of July under the name SHibari NEKonferenci or SHNEK.
What can you imagine under that? A three-day tying festival. The most important domestic tie event of the year. The opportunity to learn and be inspired not only by the best, but actually by everyone from the Czech Republic. Lots of fun with ropes and space for tying, because it's important to enjoy tying too. An opportunity to meet friends and make new ones.
There will be different rules than a regular workshop. The program will be created spontaneously based on the interests of the participants. And finally, it doesn't have to be just classic workshops, but also discussions, small study groups, fun blocks, art windows, etc. Informality and less organization will give room for greater spontaneity, new ideas and sharing of experiences. The students will become participants who themselves will create the SHNEKa program.
The program will run from Saturday 4 July 2026 to Monday 6 July 2026. On Saturday we will start already at 9:30.
On Saturday and Sunday during the day there will be four study blocks and in the evening there will be a bondage jam. More precisely:
9:00 Doors open
9:30 Start (Saturday only)
10:00-11:30 Study block
11:30-13:00 Study block
15:00-16:30 Study block
16:30-18:00 Study block
20:00-22:00 Bondage jam (Saturday, Sunday and Monday)
There will usually be 2 study blocks at the same time during the day. The law of two legs will apply - if the participant does not enjoy the topic, then he can move to where it will be more interesting for him.
The topics of the individual blocks will be created on the spot. Participants will be able to come up with their own ideas. And either the official presenters will take care of them or any of the participants can become a presenter themselves. A deep interest in the topic will be a qualification. They will be rather different from the regular workshop ones.
