September Sustainable Building Monthly

Taking Ownership PDX

Join us as Taking Ownership PDX presents their powerful, community-rooted model for supporting Black and Brown homeowners through critical home repairs, retrofits, and housing stability services. This session will highlight how their work helps residents remain in their homes, avoid displacement caused by rising repair costs, and build long-term wealth and equity in neighborhoods that have faced historic and systemic disadvantages. Attendees will gain insight into their impact, approach, and the broader movement to preserve homeownership and strengthen community resilience across Portland.
