Seminář skotských country tanců 2025

The Caledonian Club will organize the Scottish Country Dancing seminar in Prague on 4 and 5 October 2025. Without Scottish country dances there are no significant holidays and celebrations in Scotland, they are part of wedding festivities and pub dancers. But Scottish dances can be danced around the world - wherever you go, there will never be a group of fans of Scottish dances, with which you will find common language and dances. The deep social element is typical of Scottish dances - it allows you to enjoy meetings with old acquaintances and to get to know new faces. During the weekend you will practice basic steps and dance figures needed to master simple and more complicated dances. We do not forget or inseparable part of Scottish dances - etiquette. Mainly, however, you will dance. However, your basic dance experience or talent is also conditioned. Note that the number of places is limited by the capacity of the hall, the participants will be recorded in the order of reimbursement for training. It is possible to apply individually - couples are by no means a condition.
