Steak & Monster Burger Competition in Neubuilding Castle - at the Grill & Genussfestival Vienna

Everyone loves you because you can grill the perfect steaks or burgers?

Then take part in the Steak & Monster Burger competition

In addition to the title, there are attractive items and prizes Cash prizes and qualification for the SCA Steak World Championship in Texas.

Not only the winner but the first three in the ranking receive a trophy, cash prizes and a certificate!

In addition, all participants receive an attractive PREMIUM Goodie Bag

In the burger competition there are of course also non-cash or cash prizes and nice certificates.

Participation as a team

Participation fee for teams

Single Steak 99,- (including 2 ribeye steaks),

Double 179,- (including 2x2 ribeye steaks),

Monster Burger 49,-

Each participating team receives: Team space at least 3x3m (more space for a small fee), goodie bag,

Optionally available: electricity 20 euros, tent 60 euros, ice 2 euros/kilo , more space +6 m2 for 60 euros

ATTENTION: Minimum number of participants 16 teams! If this number is not reached by the first registration deadline on September 1st, 2024 the competition will not take place and the entry fee will be refunded!

Maximum number of teams: 25!

M onster Burger Additional rule: In addition to the two normal-sized burgers in the turn in box, there must also be a large burger on the golden cake plate provided Diameter 30cm (plate) can be submitted. All three burgers must have the same ingredients.

Participation as a juror

< p>Registration for jurors begins on September 2nd, 2024 on the SCA website.
The evaluation of the competition participants takes place between approx. 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m :00. The main category is STEAK (Ribeye) the secondary category is Monster Burger.

You will receive further information by email shortly before the competition.

Jurors will receive a goodie bag as a small thank you.

This is the registration page for the SCA Steak and Burger competition at the Vienna Steak Festival & Vienna Barbecue Days.

Info for Teams

Steak, Burger Cookoff participation fee:
99,- Steak A or B
179,- Steak A AND B

Each team will receive: team space at least 3x3m (more space available for a small fee) , Goodie Bag

optional:

Tent 60,- Euro, electricity 20,- Euro, Ice 2 Euro/Kg
NOTE: The electricity is limited to a max of 500W for fridge or small appliances, not suitable for cooking as this is a medieval castle with limited electricity supplies

PRICES /PAYOUT

Attractive cash prices and non-cash prizes await you. First 3 of Steak and first 3 of Monsterburger will receive cash awards and a trophy/ribbon. Place 4 and 5 will get a certificate and a trophy/ribbon.

Cash prizes for Steak:

Minimum: 600 € + trophy / 300€ + ribbon / 100€ + ribbon / ribbon / ribbon
There will be an extra trophy for the Overall Steak A+B winner. Sorry no extra cash ;-)

Cash prizes for Monsterburger:

Minimum: 300€ + trophy / 100€ + ribbon / 50€ + ribbon / ribbon / ribbon
There will be a Monsterburger Austria ranking of the combined points of Reichenau +Vienna - The winner will get the title: Monsterburger Champion Austria< /strong>.

EXTRA RULE for Monster Burger ancillary: One big burger has also to be turned in on the provided 12" gold plate - as usual two standard size burgers have to be turned in in the turn-in box - these must have the same ingredients as the big one.

VERY LIMITED use of LPG /gas grills as the city of Vienna has extreme regulations regarding LPG (inspection needed for grills older than 1 year) Please contact us before at office@exotica.at !

There will be an extra trophy for the overall Steak A+B winner (no extra cash ;-) )

Judging at the Vienna steak & burger competition

Judge registration starts at 02.09.2024 on the SCA website www.steakcookoffs.com

The Steak, Burger competition judging will be approximately from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The main category will be Steak and there will be Monster Burger as anxillary category. You will be informed by email shortly before the event about further details.
