Our feminist book club Salon Sorority is meeting in June for a small picnic to talk about Gisèle Pelicot's book “A hymn to life”. Gisèle Pelicot has become the face of an unprecedented fight for justice. In her book she lets us look behind the headlines and tells us about her way back into life. We want to create a safe space in our book club to talk about this difficult but deeply inspiring work. It's not just about the pain, but above all about the dignity and courage of a woman who refuses to remain a victim. We also take a look at the trial that shocked the whole world and ask ourselves, how can "Living with men". This time with a trigger warning for both works: Both texts contain drastic descriptions of sexual, psychological, physical and violence.
