Another lecture by Roman Žaloudek is headed to the Rock Café 💪 This time he will take us to the Himalayas. We will talk about the trek to the base camp of Mount Everest over 3 five thousand saddles 🏔️
Roman Žaloudek is a trained IT professional, traveler, mountaineer who was lucky enough to travel to many countries privately and professionally, live with his family for several years in the USA and climb beautiful high mountains such as the Matterhorn, Alpamayo, Ama Dablam or Cho Oyu (8201 m). He has been going to the mountains since high school, he has been a guide for family, acquaintances and friends for years. He also worked as a guide for Petr Hlubuček and Honza "Hocín" Hock in Adventura. He likes to deepen his experience and knowledge, which is why he decided to study for the UIMLA (Union of International Mountain Leader Associations) accreditation at the Czech Association of Mountain Guides. And it worked! He has the status of International Mountain Guide UIMLA in the Czech Association of Mountain Guides and works as a Wilderness Guide within the program of the Šumava National Park.
