About event

Ethera Gallery is commemorating the first year since its opening and on this occasion is organizing a special evening connected with a guided tour of the current exhibition Anatomy of Time.

During the past year, the gallery realized seven exhibitions and presented nine artists of the contemporary abstract scene. In addition to notable names such as Kamila Ženatá, Patrik Hábl and Jakub Sýkora, it also gave space to lesser-known authors with a distinct and distinctive handwriting.

The anniversary evening is conceived as a thank you to visitors and supporters of the gallery and to all those interested in contemporary art. Part of the program will be a guided tour of the Anatomy of Time exhibition, which will be personally led by its author, Patrik Hábl. He will explain his approach to painting, working with material and the principle of layering, which is characteristic of his work. The exhibition focuses on time, transformation and the structure of the image.

During its first year, the Ethera Gallery profiled itself as a space for contemporary art in the context of the historic center of Prague, with an emphasis on curatorial selection and continuous work with authors.

Entrance to the event is free.
