Rodinné príbehy – derniéra

Drama by the Serbian author, Biljana Srbljanović, captures the innocent play of three children. Milena, Vojin and Andrija – mother, father and child. Everything changes when their fun is interrupted by an unknown strange girl with a strange tic on her face, and the fictional family suddenly adopts a dog. Children perceive a complex political situation, an ideologically polarized society, a weak economy, war conflicts and react to crises in their own way - a game in which they vent their accumulated emotions. They are brutal, vulgar and cynical.

They imitate the adult world with chilling accuracy. And the line between individual games and children's world is thin. How to deal with the generational trauma that accompanies us from an early age? Is it possible to break out of the cycle of violence, disappointment and difficult social situation in which we grow up? And what if the only answer to stopping violence is more violence?
