DRUHÁ TRÁVA WILL CELEBRATE 33 YEARS WITH ITS BIGGEST CONCERT AT THE KARLÍN FORUM.
It has 20 albums to its credit, its members are multiple winners of the Anděl award, and in 2021 frontman Robert Křestűan even entered the Hall of Fame. We are talking about the band Druhá trava, which celebrates 33 years on the scene this year. The group will celebrate its anniversary on December 5 with its biggest solo concert to date at Prague's Karlín Forum. The fans will be able to decide on the shape of the playlist on the website and Facebook page of Drá trávy.
Preparations for the band's concert will take a whole year. The second grass will use projections and stage design on them, on which he collaborates with VJka and animator Linda Arbanová. In addition, the line-up for both shows will be strengthened by additional players and guests. "However, we will publish their names gradually," says the band's manager David Němeček. The group is running a poll on their Facebook and website where they can vote on what they would like to hear about them. "Robert Křestűan preselected more than ninety compositions. There are also some that the band has never played live for a long time or even at all. Everyone can choose five of their favourites," explains Němeček.
The second grass throughout its existence has been characterized by two distinctive features: the exceptional authorship and interpretation of Robert Křestťan and the extraordinary instrumental skill of the other members of the group. As one of the few Czech bands, they regularly toured the United States of America with a very favorable response.
