⛺ In the present territory of Rusovce, a Roman military camp has spread as part of the northern border of the Roman Empire. Although the Romans Rusovce left long ago, on Saturday 11th October we will look 28 times into the life of the Romans in the cultural monument enrolled in the UNESCO list. The ancient Gerulata and its surroundings will again be transformed into a settlement full of soldiers, gladiators, ancient weapons, armor and their favorite meals. In the middle of the 4th century, Empress Eusebia, known for its wisdom and generosity, sets out on his journey to Carnunt to Emperor Constantic II. During her journey, he stops in the Fortress of Gerulata, where she is solemnly welcomed by Dux Pannonia and the Legion of Roman soldiers. Its arrival is not just a stop - it is a symbol of imperial power and dignity of Rome, which also ruled on the outskirts of his empire. Throughout the day you can look forward to live camps with the involvement of visitors, the imperial exhibition of Roman jewelry, medical instruments, weapons and armor and demonstrations from the groups of SHŠ SIC, Legio XI Herculia from Croatia and Nova Roma from Hungary.
