Private eye Lars doesn't wear a suit, like the legendary detective Phil Marlow once did. He's a tough guy in a leather crook with a bald skull and a bushy beard. After he is kicked out by the police for absolute indiscipline, he gets beaten up in all sorts of ways. He solves various problems for his clients or creates problems for someone else. It depends on the assignment. All he has left from his service to the state is his former sidekick and friend Gold. And it is from Gold that he receives an offer for a lucrative business. Aging real estate tycoon Leo needs some compromising material on wife Dora, who appears to be living like a saint. He would like to replace her with the attractive beauty Bonnie, and he would not like to "run through the guts" in a divorce. And he doesn't care at all whether the evidence of his wife's infidelity is true or false. Lars doesn't like such a job, but he lets himself be talked into it out of a sense of debt to Gold, who once saved his life. And thus starts a carousel of events filled with fake seduction, real scams, kidnapping and blackmail. Only at the end will it be revealed who and what games he played with whom, who manages to transport the others and who finally escapes with only a scraped skin.
