REBEKA

We invite you to the performance of REBEKA.

A dance and theater performance that touches on the fragility of otherness and the search for one's place in the family and in society.

The story provides an insight into what a child who develops at a different pace or in a different direction than usual will bring to the life of the family and the surrounding area. It opens up the topic of difference, exceptionality, and how we deal with disadvantage or advantage as parents, professionals and as a community.

It follows the relationships and clashes between a child with special needs, his parents and a therapist. It creates space to think about when intimate life moments become a public topic, who actually observes whom, and what we can call special needs.
