Radůza

Radůza will perform on May 24 at the Theater Bez zábradlí.

Radůza, real name Radka Vranková, is a Czech singer, chansonist, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and music composer. In addition to composing her own songs, she also composes classical and stage music, as well as studying the folk music of various European nations.

She started with a predominantly blues-tinged repertoire on the street, where she was discovered in 1993 by the singer Zuzana Navarová. Her music is partly based on chanson, but Radůz takes the biggest part of her inspiration from folklore and the mood of the city's ragtag women, who offer unexpected musical and textual turns in her raw performance. He thus belongs to the youngest generation of the Czech alternative scene, which reaps success not only on domestic stages, but also abroad.
