RADĚJI ZEŠÍLET V DIVOČINĚ / KINEDOK

Mira Remo's film loosely draws from Aleš Palán and Jan Šíbík's book about Šumava recluses. The guides are twins František and Ondřej Klišík – eternal children living in a magical world with their pets. They share every day and thought, but hide different souls: Franta dreams of escaping and flying, Ondra remains rooted in the familiar. The film explores the limits of coexistence, the desire for freedom and connection with nature. The film won the hearts of the audience and the jury at the festival in Karlovy Vary, where it won the main prize.
