Be there on November 18th when the final start-ups pitch their public value and show what solutions they offer for the future of our society!

The Public Value Award for Start-ups honors founders who approach social challenges entrepreneurially and create social benefit with their products and services. In doing so, we want to promote a responsible, sustainable and future-looking mindset among entrepreneurs and draw attention to start-ups that are good for society in several dimensions.

The seven final teams pitch their business model along the Public Value Scorecard live. What social challenges do founders focus on? How does a business model actually create society? Who will convince the jury and who will convince the audience?

The evening will be accompanied by radio and television presenter Lars-Christian Karde and a live band. Over snacks and drinks you can network with founders, experts, investors and other supporters.

Brief overview of the agenda - finale of the Public Value Award for Start-ups 2025

Tuesday, November 18th 2025

• 4:15 p.m.: Admission of the audience
• 5:00 p.m.: Opening with live music & moderation
• From 5:30 p.m.: Pitches from the final start-ups (each pitch + Q&A)
• 6:45 p.m.: Food & networking at the Startup stands
• 7:45 p.m.: jury decision & online audience voting
• 8:15 p.m.: Award Ceremony (jury & audience award)
• from 8:45 p.m.: get-together with band, drinks & Networking

Online voting: Public Value is what the public values!

It's about how each of us perceives the social contribution of a company or organization. That’s why your voice is important too. So have your vote in the online voting for the audience award! Voting will be activated at the beginning of November on our website.

As in previous years, we have a sophisticated setting with a great supporting program, drinks and snacks included. At the same time, it is important to us that everyone can participate as a guest. This is a prize from and for society.

Free entry:
So that no one is denied entry, especially for students or the unemployed

Pay what you want:
Give as much as it suits you or as you would like to support this award and the idea behind it (5 EUR -75 EUR)

Team Ticket:
For teams of 5 people or more with a discount on the cost-covering ticket

Exclusive funding package:

The Public Value Award for Start-ups is organized by the non-profit Forum Kommunalwohl e.V. In order to ensure the annual implementation of the Forum for the Common Good, the Forum for the Common Good is dependent on financial and non-material support.
