After a year, we are returning to the summer cinema Gabriel Loci, where 9.7. we will screen the film Aware: Glimpses of Consciousness. The film will be followed by a discussion with the founder of the PSYON psychedelic clinic, Filip Tylš, moderated by our dear Eva Césarová.
The film is in the original version in English with Czech subtitles. The discussion will be in Czech.

The film AWARE explores one of the biggest mysteries of humanity – consciousness. It follows six scientists who approach this question from different perspectives: from brain research and psychedelics to meditation to the study of plant consciousness. Gradually, the scientific research turns into a deep, almost meditative cinematic journey through the ocean of consciousness, which reveals the interconnectedness of nature, life and the cosmos. The film invites the viewer to think about the mystery of existence and to a simple but fundamental realization: that we are aware.

MUDr. Filip Tylš, Ph.D.
Filip Tylš is the founder, therapist and professional representative of PSYON psychedelic clinic. He works as a psychiatrist, psychotherapist and neuroscientist specializing in psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy (PAP), which accompanies him throughout his professional career.
He graduated from the 1st Faculty of Medicine of Charles University (2012) and then completed his doctoral studies in neuroscience at the 3rd Faculty of Medicine of the Charles University, which he concluded with a dissertation focusing on the neurobiology (EEG correlates) of psychedelic experiences (2017). He continues to work at the 3rd Faculty of Medicine of the UK as an assistant professor at the Psychiatric Clinic, where he teaches, among other things, experimental psychopharmacology.
Since 2012, he has been working at the National Institute of Mental Health (NÚDZ, formerly the Psychiatric Center Prague), where he is a member of the research team focused on clinical studies with psychedelics - psilocybin, ketamine and MDMA. Since 2014, he has been participating in studies here as a so-called psychedelic sitter.
In 2015, he co-founded the Czech Psychedelic Society (CZEPS) and since 2017 he has also been working as part of the PsyCare team, which provides support to people going through challenging psychedelic states. His path to psychotherapy was influenced by personal experiences with psychedelic substances, sweat lodges, holotropic breathing and traditional ayahuasca rituals. He completed training in Gestalt psychotherapy (IVGT Prague, 2014–2020), as well as the California training program CIIS "Psychedelic-Assisted Therapies and Research Certificate Program" (2018), training in MDMA-assisted psychotherapy (MAPS, 2019) and training focused on working with extraordinary states of consciousness (Stargate, 2022).
Mgr. Eva Césarová
�Addictologist, researcher, editor, poet, connector and also the wind. �Eva has been dedicated to educating psychedelics in the Czech Republic for a long time. She co-founded the Czech Psychedelic Society (CZEPS) and the Sarava foundation, which supports indigenous communities, preserving their culture and spreading their wisdom. Its main focus is communication and the organization of educational and community events. He currently collaborates with the National Institute of Mental Health (Psychedelic Research Center), the psychedelic clinic Psyon, the Sarava project, the international organization ICEERS and regularly contributes to the magazine Psychology Today.

Psychedelic cinema is a concept taking place under the auspices of the Czech Psychedelic Society, where visitors can look forward to regular screenings of films with a psychedelic theme and follow-up discussions with experts from various circles. The screening will be followed by a discussion with Filip Tylš, founder of the psychedelic clinic PSYON, moderated by our dear Eva Césarová.
The film will be shown in its original English version with Czech subtitles. The discussion will be held in Czech.
