β On their debut record in 2025, Prostitute created a sound that is both harsh and hypnotic. They combined a mixture of distorted guitars, simple bass lines, frantic drumming and synthesizers with musical influences from the Arabian Peninsula or Lebanon.
β The American-based band's suggestive lyrics contrast scenes of violence with literary allusions, giving rise to what the band calls a "theatrical representation of terrorism". As music magazine Pitchfork puts it: "Attempted πartyr's strongest point isn't the individual crushing choruses or the unrelenting storm of punk music. It's [vocalist] Moe's ability to turn the real-life nightmares of his Lebanese family and friends into disturbingly poetic ones." texts."
