About event
* ZDENĚK SVĚRÁK 90
It is shortly after the war, and ten-year-old Eda Souček and his friend Tondo attend one of the schools on the outskirts of Prague. The boys ignore the attempts of the resigned teacher Maxová (Daniela Kolářová) to teach and are more interested in the color of her panties than in the subject matter... However, a new teacher arrives. His name is Igor Hnízdo (Jan Tříska) and he is different from all the teachers the boys have known so far. He wears a military uniform, has a real pistol on his belt and immediately implements a strict regime in the classroom... Edo begins to realize that the true role model for him is not the admired teacher, but his meticulous father Fanouš Souček (Zdeněk Svěrák) with his inconspicuous, but nevertheless true heroism... Film directorial debut by Jan Svěrák and based on the script by Zdeňk Vise.
