Procházka Prahou 5: Dívčí Hrady a Magorova studánka s Michalem Šmídem

Keep Together – that was the name of the happening, which was invented by Milan Knížák in the spring of 1973, organized by Vladimír "Hendrix" Smetana, and people like Ivo Pospíšil, Pavel Zajíček or Ivan Jirous called Magor gathered there. In the era of stiffening normalization, people, sometimes solitary in nature, understood that it is good to stick together. The Happening took place on a hill called Dívčí Hrady above Prague's Smíchov. And that is where the route of a short journey follows the tracks of underground stories, especially from the first half of the 70s. But we will also visit the places where Ivan Jirous sadly lived out his days and where his friends and admirers still meet at Magor's well.

We will pass through the remarkable parts of Prague, where the remnants of the Prague periphery, wild nature, elegant First Republic villas and newly built shiny tenements are combined in a small area, we will visit places offering unique views of Prague. You can end your journey by sitting in the inn U Prince Miroslava, whose owners and clientele are still part of the legacy of the Czech underground. The route was prepared by Michal Šmíd.
