ProART Festival 2025 v Praze: Jóga: Martin Dvořák

In the yoga lesson I start from my ten years of experience working with yoga as my own personal training. Yoga exercises will not teach you to jump high, nor make pirouettes and fall to the ground, but will teach you to perceive yourself and your own body in a comprehensive way. After years of meetings with Bikram Yoga, Shadow Yoga and Hatha Yoga (studying in India, Himalaya - Pradesh), I try to offer performers a new way and look at how to work and take care of my tool - body. Breath and movement synchronization, inner look at yourself, overcoming pain, calming, distinguishing muscle tension and relaxation, meditation. These are attributes that you can recognize or deepen in my yoga lesson for theaters, dancers and not only for them.
