About event
Theater Now breathe and fly
TOO DIFFERENT WORLDS
"Ninety-nine percent of my body consists of bacteria, organisms, processes over which I have no control. Even my thoughts live a life of their own."
A production about transformation, identity, a journey into the unknown, where nothing is certain and everything is possible. The story of a French anthropologist who was attacked by a bear during field research on shamanism is the starting point for a new perception of the world, a vision of non-destructive coexistence on the planet. Disappears the division into human and non-human, useful and harmful, healthy and insane. Dark ecology. But how to live with a new perception among those who do not change their perception?
The script was created in dialogue with the texts of Nastassja Martin, Timothy Morton and Irene Solà.
CONCEPT AND DIRECTION David Zelinka
STARS Kapitolina Kolobova, Valeria Lobachova
SCENOGRAPHIC COOPERATION Svetlana Silič
LIGHTS Kryštof Kučera, David Zelinka
PREMIER 17.9. 2025 in Studio Paměť theater, Prague
LENGTH: 70 minutes
