About event
Meet Ivan Ježík's other guests!
A doctor, paramedic and pilot Michal Pečík and security guard Erik Baláž will arrive. In a friendly and informal environment, we will get to know their personal stories and experiences, we will discuss and look for common, perhaps even unexpected #breakthroughs. Erich Vladár will traditionally accompany us in the evening. This time, he will invite Trenčín guitarist Martin Horné to the stage, with whom, in addition to his long-term friendship, he has collaborated on several musical projects. We look forward to seeing you!
✨ Peneriks ✨ is a fun talk show that creates space for getting to know each other and getting closer. The invited guests are exceptional people from the fields of culture, science, education, business, sports and other spheres of our lives.
🚁 Michal Pečík works as a doctor in the ground and air rescue service. It intervenes many times in situations where time is at stake. It is part of the documentary series STVR Emergency Line, mapping the real interventions of rescuers, firefighters and the police. His professional path was not straightforward - he initially worked as a salesman, today he saves people's lives. In addition to medicine, he is involved in sports, he is an acrobatic pilot and a sports parachutist. Through social networks and public appearances, he brings medical topics to the general public in a comprehensible manner. And as he himself says, this is his way to the stars.
🌲 Erik Baláž grew up under the Tatras and spent a lot of time in wild nature from the age of sixteen. Already while studying forest ecology in Zvolen, he was active in the campaigns of the Forest Protection Group VLK, whose goal was the protection of natural forests and large animals. He played a key role in the successful campaign for the protection of the Tiche and Kôpra valleys in the Tatras, where he participated in fighting for a ban on logging. He is the co-founder of the Aevis association and the initiator of the conservation project in the Eastern Carpathians, which also includes the film Vlčie hory (2013). He also participated in the creation of other important films about nature conservation, including the Guardian of the Wild (2009), the three-part series The Secret Carpathians (2017) and the latest four-part series Life in the Carpathians, whose episode Zima won the Grand Prix at the W. Puchalski International Nature Film Festival. He is the co-author of the book about bears The Last Fortress. In 2017, he received the White Crow award "for exceptional persistence and dedication to the mission of winning over people for nature protection, the ability to create a relationship with nature in them and to connect different actors." In his work, he combines science, field experience and storytelling, which draws attention to the importance of wilderness, responsibility and sustainability.
🎤 Ivan Ježík is the co-author and moderator of Prienikov and lecturer of the Peaceful Victory project. He returned to his native Trenčín with the Voices team, where he has been preparing various cultural and educational activities for several years. He cares about living well here and that young people want to come back here.
🎵 Martin Horný is a highly respected guitarist in the music community of Trenčín. He is known for his many years of work in music projects such as Trenčianska kaviareň and blueberryband and also as a guest in other musical formations. In his playing, based on the blues and jazz tradition, you can hear inspiration from the music of the American jazz star Pat Metheny, but also the Slovak guitar magician Andrej Šeban. href="https://trencin.maxiticket.sk/prieniky-s-michalom-pecikom-a-erikom-balazom-2026-trencin">https://trencin.maxiticket.sk/prieniky-s-michalom-pecikom-a-erikom-balazom-2026-trencin or in person at KIC Trenčín and directly before the performance at KKC Hviezda.
