inside the tent is a smaller tent and inside it a boy. He offended a long way, mostly on his own. He can show what he has taken with him, explain why he set out on the journey, he can describe where he traveled, but as his story ends, we cannot say that yet. Against the background of the journey through Turkey, Greece, Macedonia and further to Oslo, there are about things, people and places, and last but not least, about life and death. The production on refugees and refugees designed for younger audiences and adults is played inside the Mongolian yurt and uses live music, storytelling, clown, shadow theater and small tent. A big story from an intimate distance.

The Nie Theater set is created by the project by far in cooperation with the Norwegian Asylum Center Hvalstad Transittmottak, which serves as the first reception point for young refugees (aged 13-18) who came to Norway without parents. The refugees with whom the creators met most of Syria and Afghanistan and made their way to Norway themselves. The production premiered at the Showbox Festival in Oslo in 2016 and has over 400 reprises. We are far from playing in elementary schools throughout Norway and festivals in the Czech Republic, Sweden, Denmark, England, Australia, Ireland, Slovenia and Austria. In 2017, the production won the prestigious Hedda Award for the best show for youth.
