A guided walk will reveal stories that can be read from the facades of houses, which the pedestrian usually does not notice in the everyday hustle and bustle...

Facades can reveal not only the name of the builder, but also bring closer what the investor believed in, what he liked or hint at what was originally used in the house. A walk on the facades of houses will introduce interesting sculptures, paintings, rich stucco decoration and sgraffito to the participants. It will explain when and why some of the houses lost their decoration and also draw attention to the building on which markings from the protectorate have been preserved. The route will lead the participants from the oldest Žižka building to the border of Vinohrady with its elegant tenements, and will thus also illustrate the transformations that the tenement house has gone through for almost two centuries.
