We invite you on Monday, June 15 at 4:00 p.m. for a guided tour of the exhibition I was walking around the city and it was standing on the street. The curatorial interpretation will be combined with a joint walk to the monument to Ján Langoš Odkryvanie. The exhibition follows on from the long-term research of the Central Slovak Gallery, which is devoted to works of art in the public space of Banská Bystrica from the period of socialism (1948 – 1989). This period, shaped by state cultural policy, was also significantly reflected in the form of art, which co-created the character of the city.
