As part of the accompanying program to the exhibition Preservation of Monuments and Modern Architecture of the Trenčín Region: Current Status and Challenges organized by the Trenčín Architecture Center, we invite you to the lecture Architecture and historical values of commercial buildings (not only) in the Trenčín Region. The lecturer is Mgr. Karolína Králiková, an architectural historian dealing primarily with the architecture of the 19th and 20th centuries in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. She currently works as a doctoral student at the Department of Architecture of the Institute of History of the Slovak Academy of Sciences in Bratislava, where her research focuses on the department stores of socialist (Czecho-)Slovakia.
The study with the same title of the lecture will be one of the contributions of the upcoming anthology of the Architecture Center Trenčín.
