About event
The nationwide Read Summer project has been bringing children the joy of reading and creativity for 11 years. This summer will also be a permanent part of the Košice Youth Library program.
📚 During the summer holidays (July, August), always on Mondays from 9:30 to 11:00, children can participate in playful reading and thematic activities at the Merkúr branch at Němcova 28.
Each week has a different creative theme that supports children's imagination and a natural relationship to books. The project also includes a beautifully illustrated booklet full of reading tips, tasks and family activities.
📖 Children can pick up the booklet directly at after-school branches during the event.
Come play with us, read and discover stories, make your summer even more beautiful.
The events also take place at four other after-school branches, Tuesdays at the Nezábudka branch, Poľovnícka 8, Wednesdays at the LitPark branch, Kukučínova 2 and Fridays at the Humbuk branch, Humenská 9 and Hornádka, Hutnícka 22.
Fee: €1/family
