About event
Studio lighting is a question mark and at the same time an attraction for many photographers. In our course, we will teach you how to deal with studio flashes and how to use photo umbrellas, softboxes, reflecting boards and other studio equipment. We will show you how to achieve maximum effect with minimal equipment. You will try everything while photographing a model in a professionally equipped photo studio.
The course is suitable for graduates of the External flash course and for advanced photographers.
Course content:
Specifics of photography in studios.
Types of studio lighting, flashes vs. continuous lights.
Light modifiers and their use.
Shooting a portrait with one light.
Shooting a portrait with multiple lights.
Portrait vs. whole figure - lighting requirements.
Fundamentals of posing and communication with the model.
Selection and use of props when photographing a portrait.
The course PORTRAIT IN THE STUDIO is accredited by the Ministry of Education of the Slovak Republic, accreditation no. : 3850/2023/100/1, as part of the module Photography with artificial light - external flash and studio lighting, together with the course EXTERNAL FLASH. In order to obtain a certificate with accreditation, it is necessary to complete both of these courses (in any order).
