About event
We invite you to a unique workshop devoted to the art of portrait with Anetta.
We will go on a journey from the oldest representations of faces, through the great works of masters of past eras, to contemporary interpretations.
We will discuss examples of portraits that not only show the appearance, but above all the emotions and personality of a person.
This meeting will show that portrait is an art. close to everyone - from a simple line to the depth of expressed feelings.
The workshops are open to everyone - regardless of experience.
What will happen?
During the meeting, participants will have the opportunity not only to learn about the history of a portrait, but also to try their hand at creating it.
In the practical part, we will learn about:
* pencil drawing - practicing from the first line, proportions and face layout,
* pastel drawing - working on color, light and mood of the portrait,
* painting with paint - creating more complete, expressive portraits.

Where: in Polish headquarters in Berlin e.V. Storkower Str. 158, 10407 Berlin, (S-Bahnhof Landsberger Allee) 3rd floor (after leaving the elevator, turn left and go to the end)
Leader: Anetta Küchler-Mocny
Born in Bydgoszcz. She studied art in Germany, where she graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Monastir with a master's degree. As an artist, she has been working in her atelier in Germany for years, and recently also in Austria. Her work focuses on portrait painting, but it is not only portraits. The artist creates abstract "characterologies" in which, apart from the figure, there is also space and atmosphere. Her work, rooted in humanistic traditions, often comments on history and memory, and at the same time creates a space for personal reflection. As an educator, she inspires workshop participants, encouraging them to creative experiments and discover themselves and their own artistic style.
