Polar Bear Run 2026. Lets Ride!

What: The west coast’s largest Polar Bear Ride! I can attest, rain, snow or shine, a fun event open to all kinds of people and all kinds of bikes. An annual self-guided motorcycle ride. If you want to pay for a map and shwag, $20 or for the price of free, just hang and ride with me! It offers three routes of varying lengths:
Papa Bear: An approximately 90-mile route for good weather.
Mama Bear: A shorter, 60-mile route.
Baby Bear: A short route for poor weather.
When: New Year's Day. Sign in 10-12. I recommend getting there a little early for people and motorcycle watching.
Where: The "Polar Bear Run" begins at Cycle Gear in SE in Portland, Oregon and ends at Jimmy O's Pizzeria in Oregon City.
Why: I need excuses to ride motorcycles with friends. Maybe you need a reason for a selfie with a Polar Bear.
Who: The ride is sponsored by the Trinity Road Riders and is open to all motorcyclists.
Did I mention free coffee and donuts. For some reason, they taste better to me when I think there free AND they taste so much better in the cold and likely wet!!
