About event
Reprise of the choreographic performance project of the VŠMU Department of Dance Creation: On and Off.
The original choreographic work Treatment of Remembering by the Czech art collective PocketArt for three female performers gains new intensity in an adaptation created in collaboration with students of the Dance Theater and Performance at the Department of Dance Creation HTF VŠMU. Through choreographic precision, detailed work with gestures, expression and an emphasis on the sensitive connection of all dancers, the adaptation Treatment of Remembering – Altered becomes a powerful statement of the young generation about the increasingly pressing ecological challenges of our time. female performers together with the audience the procedure of remembering - Treatment of Remembering. In the poetic dance images, female performers fall into a state of remembering nature in an empty time-space. By awakening memories of long-forgotten experiences within the Treatment of Remembering procedure, attention is paid to the uniqueness of physical and emotional experiences connected with nature. Through the artificial imitation of the world, which has replaced the real world, they draw attention to the ever-increasing displacement of the natural environment by artificial products of human activity. The sensitivity of the sound design and author's music together with the distinctive lighting atmospheres intensify the intensity of sensory perception and complete the work filled with the constant vibration of creation and destruction. However, from the artificially created atmospheres of calm, a strong concern emerges, which encourages the audience to reflect on their relationship with the environment.

Julie Marková: No hard feelings
Something finds its way through me. What if I let it go? Fragility shakes me, pieces of help fall to the ground, emotions yearning to breathe. I am looking for resilience in vulnerability and freedom in trust. What if I allow myself to reconcile? I hear the answer in the wind. I hand over everything to him because it doesn't belong to me. Choreography is inspired by experiencing a continuous transformation of the relationship to oneself and life approach and embodies the endless formation of one's own state of being.

Jasmína Miťková: Letná Kuchyňa
A place deep inside me. I lean the notebook against my knee, the swing, the table and write. I map myself and the artistic process. I'm grieving. Where should I go? Where do I go to light a candle? Where do I put straw, an old plum tree, a paved path, apple trees, geese and ducks? I leave behind crumbs that lead home, it's just that I don't recognize home anymore and time will eat the crumbs. I take off and look out the small window. And sometimes I have a rope around my ankle. A loop that fastens there by itself. I'm sweating. An animal rages in my chest, tearing me to pieces, but the lips are smiling. Nice. Beautiful.
Is forgetting a choice? Forgetting is part of being alive. Wanting to remember is also a choice.
I write: Before I leave, I have to hang myself upside down. Look at the world upside down. Maybe I will have a lot of fun.
I am writing: There is a summer kitchen in the house where my grandmother lives.

Gabriela's body has many layers. Together they create a surprising whole. What is their essence and essence? Gabriela began the search for her true core. In an effort to find him, he plunges his head deep into the water. Maybe he will find it at the bottom of the lake.
